CONGRATS DANE DOBBIE ON 500 CAREER GOALS!

San Diego Seals Forward Dane Dobbie reached a major milestone of 500 career goals on Saturday, March 11 against the Saskatchewan Rush. This feat makes him only the seventh player in NLL history to achieve such a feat. And a beautiful goal it was, with a behind the back shot only minutes into the beginning of the matchup vs. the Saskatchewan Rush.

Heading into Saturday’s game, Dobbie sat at 499 goals, trailing close behind Ryan Benesch (500) and Colin Doyle (527). John Tavares sits at the top of the list with 815. Other notable stars on the list include John Grant (668), Gary Gait (635), and Dan Dawson (548).

Dobbie began his professional career in 2007, when he was drafted No. 4 overall by the Calgary Roughnecks. He had a stellar offensive season in 2014 with a career-high 51 goals, and was named the NLL MVP in 2019.

Dobbie made the transition to the Seals in 2021, and has continued to dominate the NLL West from California. He currently leads the Seals, and sits at #4 overall in the league with 31 goals this season.
