GAME PREVIEW: SAN DIEGO SEALS V. SASKATCHEWAN RUSH

The first place San Diego Seals are gearing up for an electric matchup against West Division rival Saskatchewan Rush on Friday, Feb. 17 at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

The Seals, who are undefeated at home, currently boast the best record in the NLL, but are prepared to defend that against the Rush, who sit at third place in the West Division standings.

The last time San Diego faced off against Saskatchewan, things looked a bit shaky until an explosive second half launched the Seals to victory after a 10-3 deficit.

The Seals offensive production has been hot as of late, with forwards Dane Dobbie and Curtis Dickson both leading the team in goals with 22 each. In the Seals’ most recent matchup against Panther City, a total of three hat tricks ensued for forwards Wesley Berg, Austin Staats and Dobbie. Dickson collected six points, leading the team during last Saturday’s game.

The Seals have a few potential milestones that can be reached in Friday’s contest, starting with forward Kevin Crowley, who is five points away from an impressive 800 career points. Additionally, Crowley needs five more loose ball recoveries to reach 700.

On a similar note, nine more goals for Dobbie would make him the sixth player in league history to reach 500 in his career.

After this upcoming game, defenseman Brodie Merrill will advance to fifth place on the all-time list for games played with a grand total of 267.

The game will be aired nationally on ESPN2, and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The original 7 pm start time has been pushed back to 7:30 pm PT / 10:30 ET. Grab your tickets here.
