Reinholdt Re-Signs in San Diego

The San Diego Seals announced today that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Tor Reinholdt on a one-year deal.

“Tor has been a part of this team since the very beginning,” said General Manager and Head Coach Patrick Merrill. “He understands our systems, he loves playing in San Diego with this team and we’re excited to have him back.”

Reinholdt has appeared in every game in Seals history recording 169 loose balls, 28 caused turnovers and 16 points. The defenseman originally signed with the Seals as a free agent ahead of the team’s inaugural season. Reinholdt is an eight-year NLL veteran and was drafted sixth overall in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft.

The team has also signed transition players Alex Woodall and Aidan Buis. Woodall played his rookie season for the New York Riptide, appearing in 12 games, registering 84 loose balls and 2 points. He was the Riptide’s face-off man winning over 50% of his draws. Buis played four seasons with the Niagara Thuderhawks (Ontario Junior Lacrosse Association), notching 41 points in 48 games.
