SEALS SIGN BOMBERRY, LOGAN

The San Diego Seals announced today that team has agreed to terms with defenseman Tyson Bomberry and transition player Danny Logan.

“These are two young, athletic defensive players we’re excited to have in San Diego,” said Seals General Manager and Head Coach Patrick Merrill. “They have a lot of upside and we can’t wait to see them both at camp.”

Bomberry was acquired from the New York Riptide via trade during the 2019 NLL off-season. He was the tenth overall selection in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft and appeared in 11 games for New York in his rookie season recording 29 loose balls and four caused turnovers. The Six Nations, ON native won three Minto Cups with the Six Nations Arrows – one under Seals coaches Patrick Merrill and Bill Greer – in Ontario Junior A where he was teammates with current Seals players Austin Staats and Oliver Bolsterli. Bomberry signed a one-year deal.

Logan was the Seals third-round selection in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft. He played college lacrosse at the University of Denver where he was a two-time USILA All-American and a Tewaaraton Nominee. He graduated second in program history in games played (72), third in caused turnovers (50) and eighth in ground balls (186). The 5-11, 200-pound righty signed a two-year deal.
