SEALS SIGN STAR FORWARD KEVIN CROWLEY

The San Diego Seals continued their aggressive free agency with the signing of star right-handed forward Kevin Crowley. Earlier this morning, the Seals signed future Hall-of-Famer Curtis Dickson.

“Kevin’s a big, strong, tough competitor and will bring another level to our team,” said General Manager and Head Coach Patrick Merrill. “I’ve been able to watch him play over the course of his career and we’re lucky to have him on our side. I have a feeling the fans in San Diego are going to love this guy and we’re proud to welcome him to San Diego.”

Crowley, who spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Wings organization, notched 337 goals and 775 points in 165 career games. The big 6-4, 200-pound righty registered six consecutive seasons with 70+ points, including a 51 goal season in 2018. He’s been named a two-time NLL All-Pro and was named to the 2012 NLL All-Rookie Team. Crowley was selected first overall in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the Seals organization,” said Crowley. “I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and a lot of friends and former teammates on the team. I look forward to playing in front of our fans in Pechanga!”
