STICK UP FOR A CURE JERSEY AUCTION

The San Diego Seals’ annual cancer awareness night, Stick Up For a Cure, returns to Pechanga Arena on Saturday, April 22. The night will be presented by Kings & Convicts Brewing Co. and will benefit Rady Children’s Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital right here in San Diego. Stick Up For A Cure debuted in 2019, with special meaning for players and fans alike. Players proudly wear the names of those affected by cancer on their backs, and present their game jerseys to those fans and their loved ones immediately following the game.

Special game-worn jerseys will be available for auction beginning today and lasting until April 14 at 12 pm PT. The purple and gold jerseys will feature ribbons on the sleeve, as well as the message “Stick Up For a Cure” etched in black on the sides. Additionally, lavender purple ribbons will decorate the shoulders of the jersey. Along with the player’s name and number, the back will feature a special “I’m Sticking Up For” customizable name plate, with the first and last name of an individual affected by cancer to later be selected by the winner of the auction.
