Statement from the San Diego Seals:
Today we were notified by the National Lacrosse League that Austin Staats has been suspended indefinitely due to a non-lacrosse, off-the-field incident that took place in 2024. We respect the League’s decision and do not intend to challenge it.
As an organization, the Seals understand the severity of the incident and we intend to give Austin all of the time that he needs to address it.
We will have no further comment at this time.
